Glossary

Bead : A work item stored in the Beads ledger. Often referred to as an issue.

Convoy : A collection of beads that track related work items.

Crew member : Your personal workspace within a rig.

Hook : A git worktree that persists agent state.

Mayor : The primary AI coordinator that orchestrates agents.

Polecat : A worker agent spawned to handle a task.

Rig : A project container that wraps a git repository and manages agents.

Town : The top-level workspace directory (for example, ~/gt/).
